Each Program lasts from 5 up to six weeks.
SUSI are hosted by U.S. Universities located in various regions of the country. Each group of 18 and up to 30 international specialists will attend all seminar and panel discussions. The program is designed for individuals whose home institutions would like to enhance and update existing courses on the United States.
Each Program has 2 components: an intensive four-week academic program and a week of an integrated study tour. Each institute concludes with several days of meetings and related study in Washington, D.C.
