The English Access Microscholarship Program (Access) provides free English language classes to talented 13-15 year-olds from economically disadvantaged backgrounds through after-school classes and intensive sessions. The program allows students to develop intercultural skills and communication, gain an appreciation for American culture and democratic values, participate successfully in the socio-economic development of their countries, and compete for and strengthen their ability to participate in future U.S. exchange and study programs.
- aged 13-15 years at the beginning of the program;
- average knowledge of English;
- residents of Cherven or Minsk
- strong motivation and ability to participate in the program.
The program is financed by the U.S Government and run locally by Republican Public Organization Belarusian Association of UNESCO Clubs.
