Change your encoding to Unicode (UTF-8) in the menu “View” of your Internet browser.

Yes. Although children under 14 do not need to appear for the interview, they will need to have a separately scheduled appointment.

Our system will permit making an appointment up to 2 months before the date of the interview.

Yes, you can make an appointment before you have all your documents ready. The only information you need to provide to make the appointment is your name, passport number, telephone number, and email address.

No.  In order to schedule a new appointment, you will have to cancel the existing one.

If you have lost your Confirmation ID, send an email to ConsularMinsk@state.gov and request that your appointment be cancelled.

In that case, you will need to wait until the day after your scheduled visa appointment in order to use the NIV online appointment system to schedule a new interview appointment.

No, the appointment system will give you a specific appointment time, and you should appear at the Embassy at least half an hour beforehand.
